Pet Portraits Image Guidelines

The quality of the photo you upload is key to creating a stunning portrait. To help ensure your pet's portrait is perfect, follow these three simple guidelines for selecting the best photo: crisp lighting, a clear head and neck, and no motion blur.

1. Your photo is crisp and well lit. Natural daylight is best

The best photos are well lit, look sharp and are in high resolution. Avoid photos that are poorly lit, blurry or in low-resolution.

2. The head and neck area are visible and within the frame

If a part of your subject is missing from the photo, we won't be able to recreate it. We need photos of pets where the head and neck area are visible.

3. Avoid photos of in motion

The best pet photos are photos of subjects that are standing still. Avoid sending us photos of subjects that are running, jumping or in motion.
